Take a guess…

As I stated earlier, I went home to San Antonio.

I ate a bowl of soup at a popular restaurant.  Here’s a pic so you can guess what it is:

  1. The way the soup looks…. I would assume it is called Menudo? I hope it was good, because it doesn’t look appetizing! Just give me some spicy Hot and Sour soup!

  2. I’d say that’s BRAIN SOUP! EEEEW

  3. It is an organ, but not a brain. Try again!

  4. Jennifer got it right…it’s Menudo….not the Spanish boy band…the soup.

  5. LOL, not the Spanish boy band…. Isn’t menudo like the intestines of a fish? I’ve also heard it’s good for hangovers. Perhaps one day I will venture from my spicy hot and sour soup and try it, but just knowing what organ might be in it… I don’t think so!!!

  6. Menudo has cow stomach in it. Not exactly something you’ll find on the menu at The Palm, but if that’s all you’ve got, it’s better than nothing.

I’ve had menudo with turkey, which is much better. The spices are great. The stomach? Little rubbery.

  7. Okay, now that you’ve told me it usually has cow stomach in it, I don’t think I’ll try it – not even if it’s the last meal on Earth. I’ll stick to milk and beef (well done) from the cow. I don’t want to eat a rubbery stomach. 😦 I’ll let you have your tasty soup. 😉

  8. I just got around to reading this, but still have to tell you that that is really awful looking, I hope it was better tasting but I have my doubts..
